CASC-28 Gambling Rules
Setting
The gambling is based on the CASC-28 FOF division:
- There are 500 problems
- There is a 120s wall clock time limit, no CPU limit
That is the same setting as for CASC-J10.
Divisions
There are two gambling divisions:
- The Random FOF Horse (RFH) division
Each entry is given a random ATP system (horse) from the FOF division.
- The Chosen FOF Horse (CFH) division
Each entry chooses an ATP system (horse) from the FOF division.
In both divisions the entrant must estimate the number of problems the
ATP system will solve.
Entries are submitted by email to Geoff Sutcliffe.
The entries are ranked by the absolute delta between the prediction and
the competition result.
Gambling is Not Free
Each entry costs €5 = $6 = ...
The winner in each division gets 1/2 of all the entry fees, second place
gets 1/3, and third place gets 1/6.
As I can't collect the cash from you physically, the following process is
being used:
- You can take an entry on trust.
- You can pay me later by:
- Zelle/PayPal/Venmo/IBAN, or
- You can avoid paying by
making a donation to the TPTP project, or
- I will hunt you down (and remember I have been running CASC for
a looooong time - you will not escape).
- Payouts to the placed entries is by Zelle/PayPal/Venmo/IBAN.
